Guest Access
The gated entrance leads to a wide, shared driveway/walkway. Guests can park on the street, where there is always ample space, and walk into the property. There are tall bamboos, pine and oak trees along the driveway where you can relax in the shade and listen to the birds. There is WiFi connection as well as Netflix and Amazon Instant Video via the smart TV. Amazon Prime includes plenty of free movies and shows. If desired, we can purchase specific movies that are not on Prime, we will just add that to the tab.

We are always making improvements to make your stay more comfortable, whether it is outdoor/indoor amenities or just little decorative details that enhance your experience. So the photos you see may not include all the newly added features, though we will keep adding them as often as those spurts of creativity occur :) Upon arrival you'll be greeted with a bottle of wine, snacks, water, and fruits, so you can feel at home from the moment you walk in!
Other Details to Note
There is a cozy sitting area by the studio with papasan chairs, as well as sitting area with two swing chairs on under the pine tree and an outdoor dining table near the main house entrance that you can take advantage of during the day. The pool area right in front of the main house is our private area and is not shared with guests. Just because it won’t give our guests and the family the privacy we’d like to keep. There will be two comfy robes waiting for you inside to give you a spa-like relaxing feel. The guest house can be rented for a minimum of 2 nights and up to a maximum of one month. There are discounts for stays of a week or more. For longer stays additional cleaning can be arranged at two week intervals. The kitchen is equipped with the following: - Stove top - Counter-top toaster oven (baking, toasting, broiling) - Microwave - Hand blender - Counter-top blender - Coffee maker - Refrigerator/freezer - Sink - Pots, pans, tea pot, French press, dishes, cups, glasses, silverware, etc. - Cooking essentials: seasonings, olive oil, vinegar, salt/pepper, sugar, honey, teabags, loose tea, coffee, Brita water container, etc. [License # CHS2212080]

Find us
There is a bus line that goes North and South off of the main street, and there is always Uber or Lyft that can be called. There is a nice small park nearby, Glorietta park, as well as a bigger one, Verdugo park, both within 5 to 15 minute walking distance. There are also a grocery store and two restaurants in less than 5 min walk away. Glendale Community College is also closeby, about a 15 - 20 minute walk.
